"A sizeable, powerful middle, but demands precise timing"

RRP: £549.99, Edge: 39mm, Weight: 2lb 9oz

The DKP limited edition stands out with its transparent chrome decals, understated branding and beautifully exposed grain, showcasing the quality of the willow.

The clean, elegant design highlights the bat’s flowing contours, including an eccentric swell and a carefully sculpted toe that give it a distinctive profile.

Featuring 11 straight, clean grains with a small strip of heartwood, it is crafted from grade one plus English willow and shaped with minimal concaving.

The long blade and expansive sweet spot are designed to suit stroke-makers who like to play all around the wicket and in varied conditions.

Feedback from testers, however, was varied. While the handle, stickers and overall finish drew praise, some felt the on-field performance did not quite match the premium appearance.

The initial pick-up was described as slightly heavy and at times sluggish, requiring adjustment before a shot was played.

That said, when struck from the middle, the response was strong, and the ball travelled an impressive distance.

Outside of that zone, performance dropped off noticeably, with a less consistent ping compared to other bats tested. Overall, the DKP limited edition offers a sizeable, powerful middle, but demands precise timing to unlock its full potential.
