The impressive Chase stable handmake their bats down at their bespoke cricket centre in Dummer, Hampshire. And one of Hampshire’s finest, Liam Dawson, has wielded Chase willow with great success.
While the green and black design of their A-10 Players has more than just a hint of Australian limited-overs colours about it, this is nonetheless a very solid blade that went down almost universally well with our student testers.
They enjoyed its stylish design, and even more so its even distribution of weight and ample middle.
The handle was a little chunkier than some of the other bats tested this year, but that aspect of it went down well.
Chase claim that the A10’s pick-up weight is up to 2oz lighter than the dead weight, which should help when lining up for shots.
