The Afghanistan international has made 34 appearances for the Renegades, scoring 625 runs and taking 25 wickets
Mohammad Nabi has re-signed for Melbourne Renegades ahead of the 2021-22 Big Bash League.
The Afghanistan international, who captained the side at the 2021 T20 World Cup, is the world number one-ranked T20I allrounder in the ICC standings and places 12th on the T20 Player Index.
Nabi has spent four seasons with the Renegades, scoring 625 runs at a strike rate of 129.67 and taking 25 wickets, and was part of the BBL08 title-winning squad.
The 36-year-old will be available for the duration of the tournament.
"It’s great to be linking up with the Renegades once again. Going into my fifth Big Bash campaign, I feel like part of their family," Nabi said.

"I hope we can win another title and give our fans something to smile about after such a difficult time for everyone."
Head coach, David Saker, added: "It’s great to have a player of Mohammad Nabi’s quality locked in for BBL11. His record in the Big Bash speaks for itself and he brings a wealth of experience from playing in T20 tournaments around the world.
"Nabi has been an important part of our middle order and has the ability to change games quickly. He has the flexibility with both bat and ball to play various roles for our team. We’re looking forward to what he can bring this year."
Nabi is the third overseas player to commit to the Renegades, joining Indian Unmukt Chand and England’s Reece Topley.
