Adelaide Strikers will host the Melbourne Renegades in match 36 of the 2022/23 Big Bash, the 12th edition of the tournament.
The game is scheduled to start at 7.10pm local time (8.40am GMT) on Tuesday, January 10.
The game will be played at the Adelaide Oval.
Adelaide Strikers were the table-toppers for a while. However, there has been a dip in their recent performance, and they sit fifth in the points table with eight points. After four consecutive defeats, though, Strikers made a comeback in the last game as they went past Hobart Hurricanes by seven wickets thanks to a Matt Short century.
Melbourne Renegades, on the other hand, have fared consistently this season. They won their last two games and will be hopeful of continuing this momentum. Renegades are currently third with 10 points from nine games.
With the bat, Short and Chris Lynn have been doing their job exceptionally well. Strikers chased a mammoth total of 230 against Hurricanes thanks to Short, standing in as captain, and a valuable 64 by Chris Lynn.
On the other side, Sam Harper played a brilliant knock of 89 off 48 balls to help Renegades go past Hurricanes by six wickets. However, their star batter Aaron Finch has scored 242 runs in nine innings but with a pedestrian strike rate of 111.

The key match-up for the contest will be Renegades' bowling and Strikers' batting. The highest wicket-taker of the season, Tom Rogers, has picked 17 wickets this season with seven wickets coming in the last two games. His 5 for 16 helped Renegades defend 141 against Melbourne Stars.
Meanwhile, Strikers have one of the most explosive batting line-ups. The top two highest scorers of the season are from Strikers, with Lynn and Short scoring 324 and 321 runs, respectively.
Sunny conditions are expected, and temperatures will be in the mid-20s in Adelaide during the game.
Both teams have won their previous games and should remain unchanged for their upcoming clash. However, with Rashid Khan leaving Strikers to join MI Cape Town for the SA20 league, Strikers will be forced to make a change for the game, while Renegades might go in with the same XI.
Henry Hunt returns to Strikers' squad, but neither Alex Carey nor Travis Head are available yet after international duty.

The home team, Adelaide Strikers, are available on 13/17, while Melbourne Renegades are on 6/5.
Both teams are evenly matched. However, with Rashid Khan no longer with Strikers, their bowling looks a bit on the weaker side, which can be an advantage for Renegades. Despite that, given the home advantage, we can expect Adelaide Strikers to fancy their chances.
Tickets are available on Ticketek, with prices starting from $23 for adults and $5 for children. Family tickets are available with two kids and adults for $46.
