The big day is finally upon us and ahead of the grand final, The Cricketer has all the information you need to follow the action in an all-Melbourne event...
The final of Australia's domestic franchise 20-overs-a-side tournament, the Big Bash League.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 17, with it set to start at 2:45PM local time (3:45am GMT).
The match will be hosted at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, also known as the Docklands Stadium. The Melbourne Renegades play their home games at the ground.
The stadium has generally seen low scores this season. Prior to the semi-finals, there had been 17.13 runs per wicket this season, compared to 24.24 in all matches played there, and the runs per over was down to 6.43 from 7.74.
However, the Renegades match-winning total of 184 in their semi-final is the largest total managed at the ground this year, which could mean the pitch will be better for batting in the final.

The match is going to be between the aforementioned Melbourne Renegades and the Melbourne Stars. The match represents a home game for the Renegades as they finished above the Stars in the points table.
This is the first time that the Renegades have been to the Big Bash final, while it will be the third time that the Stars have made it. They won the tournament in 2016.
The Renegades got to the final by beating the Sydney Sixers in the semi-final by three wickets, while the Melbourne Stars upset the odds by beating the heavily-fancied Hobart Hurricanes by six wickets.
Dan Christian was the hero for the Renegades in their match, and not for the first time this season, as he scored a vital 31 off 14 balls towards the back end of the match to get his side over the line.
The Melbourne Stars overcame the Hobart Hurricanes largely thanks to the fantastic bowling of Daniel Worrall. The seam bowler finished with figures of 4-23, which included the all-important wickets of Matthew Wade and George Bailey. Captain Glenn Maxwell got his side home with seven balls to spare, scoring 43 off 33.
Dan Christan and Daniel Worrall were the heroes for their respective teams in the semi-finals
Most bookies are putting the Melbourne Stars as the favourites to win the final with odds of around 4/5, while the Renegades are fancied at 9/10.
This is in spite of the fact that the Renegades finished above the Stars in the points table. The logic behind this probably comes from the sort of players that the Stars have in their ranks.
West Indies allrounder Dwayne Bravo has developed an uncanny knack of winning T20 tournaments. Using the T20 Player Index we can see that over the past three years he has won five tournaments. That's the joint-most over that period of time.
The Renegades, however, have winners of their own. The man who played a massive part in winning their semi-final, Dan Christian, has won three tournaments over the past three years, and came into this having won South Africa’s Mzansi Super League with the Jozi Stars.
