On Thursday David Warner announced via social media that he has accepted the 12-month ban Cricket Australia have imposed upon him
A day after Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft announced that they would be accepting the sanctions imposed by Cricket Australia, former vice-captain David Warner has followed suit.
Warner took to Twitter to make reveal the news, saying: "I have today let Cricket Australia know that I fully accept the sanctions imposed on me. I am truly sorry for my actions and will now do everything I can to be a better person, teammate and role model."
Warner faces 12 months without playing for his country or New South Wales and will never again be considered for a leadership role with Australia, if he is to return to the national team.

In his own statement, Smith said: "I meant what I said about taking full responsibility as captain of the team.
"They have been imposed by CA to send a strong message and I have accepted them."
Bancroft's announcement followed, with the rookie opener stating: "I would love to put this behind me and will do whatever it takes to earn back the trust of the Australian public."
It had been rumoured that Warner was exploring his options in regards to an appeal, however his acceptance of the ban looks to draw a faint line under proceedings.
