Normally seen wearing New Balance, the seamer was spotted at Edgbaston with an Addidas boot on his left foot weeks on from suffering an ankle injury ahead of the series
England fast bowler Ollie Robinson has been seen wearing mismatched bowling boots during the first Ashes Test against Australia at Edgbaston.
The Daily Telegraph first spotted the quirk on day three of the ongoing clash in Birmingham, the first of five between now and the end of July.
Robinson would normally be seen sporting New Balance boots, but on his left foot was displaying an Adidas boot.
And while the reason behind the move is unknown, it is suspected to be due to the left ankle problem the seamer suffered in the lead-up to the series.

While playing for Sussex in the LV= Insurance County Championship against Glamorgan, Robinson was withdrawn from the game with an injury which threatened his involvement this summer.
And while a subsequent scan showed no damage, he missed the one-off Test against Ireland at Lord's as a precaution.
The Test, his 17th, is his first outing since the scare at Hove in mid-May.
The joint remains strapped to manage the issue and ensure no further damage is suffered, allowing him a full roll with the ball for Ben Stokes' side.
