There was a brief moment on day two of the third Test when England showed themselves capable of taking a sizable chunk out of Australia's first innings of 327.
But at 127 for 4, Cameron Green bowled a delivery in the channel of off-stump, forcing Harry Brook to play, and subsequently edge the ball behind to Alex Carey.
It ended a fifth-wicket stand with Ben Stokes worth 56 - the best of the day - and went a long way towards leaving the tourists in a perilous position heading into day three.
