England's batting frailties hit a new low on day two of the fifth Men's Ashes Test as Jamie Smith was dismissed off a Marnus Labuschagne bouncer with the second new ball looming.

On 46 at the time, the Surrey youngster was being tested with a series of short deliveries before his patience snapped, sending the ball down the throat of Scott Boland at deep extra cover.
