Josh Inglis will return home prior to the second Test at Lord's, before returning at a later date, to attend the birth of his first child and will be replaced by Jimmy Peirson
Jimmy Peirson will be added to Australia's men's Ashes squad ahead of the second Test against England at Lord's as temporary cover for Josh Inglis.
The 30-year-old will be the backup wicketkeeper to Alex Carey as Inglis, who is expected to rejoin the squad at a later date, returns home to be with partner Megan for the birth of their first child.
Inglis, 28, remains part of the group for the World Test Championship final against India (June 7-11) and the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston (June 16-20).
