England Under-19s international Lizzie Scott has signed her first professional deal with Northern Diamonds while a further four players have penned contract extensions.

Spinner Katie Levick's one-year extension will see her remain with Diamonds until at least the end of 2025 while Emma Marlow, Phoebe Turner and Leah Dobson are now contracted until the end of 2024.

Yvonne Graves, however, has left the club.

Scott, 19, made her Diamonds debut in 2022 and has taken 15 wickets in 17 List A appearances and a further seven wickets in seven T20 outings.

Batter Dobson is well-established in the Diamonds' line-up, scoring over 500 runs in 36 appearances in all formats since making her debut in 2021, while spinner Marlow and allrounder Turner have chalked up 21 and 19 appearances, respectively, since breaking into the side in 2022.

All four youngsters featured at Lord's when Diamonds lifted the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy in 2022.

Levick, who also played in that final, is the senior face in the squad, picking up 59 List A wickets and 37 T20 wickets since the team's launch in 2020.

Last season, she topped the wicket-taking charts for Diamonds in both formats, taking 24 wickets with an economy of 4.39 in 14 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy outings and a further 12 wickets in seven Charlotte Edwards Cup appearances.

"I'm delighted that we have secured these new contracts ahead of next season. They are all players we want to keep and have faith in, and what's great to see is that there is a mix of youth and experience in those renewals," said head coach Dani Hazell.

"The team is very excited about the prospects we have ahead of next season. We have a good group, and that's what gives us drive and optimism going forward.

"We want to build on last season, and it's about looking at how we can improve and push on for trophies."
