The 27-year-old scored 119 runs off 57 balls, including seven fours and 10 sixes, as England piled on 267 for 3 in the fourth T20I against West Indies
Phil Salt has broken the record for the highest individual score in a men's T20I for England after scoring 119 runs off 57 balls against West Indies.
His innings, which included seven fours and 10 sixes, helped England pile on 267 for 3 in the fourth T20I in Trinidad & Tobago, surpassing their previous best of 241 for 3 against New Zealand in 2019.
Alex Hales previously held the record in men's T20Is, scoring 116 not out against Sri Lanka in 2014. Danni Wyatt, who scored 124 (64) for England Women against India in 2018, retains the overall record.

Salt, who went unsold at Tuesday's (December 19) IPL auction, required just 23 deliveries to bring up his half-century before reaching three figures off 48 balls – the joint-second fastest men's T20I hundred for England, behind Liam Livingstone's 42-ball century against Pakistan (2021) and tied with Dawid Malan (versus New Zealand in 2019).
The 27-year-old also scored a century in the third T20I, finishing unbeaten on 109 off 56 balls as England chased 223 with one ball to spare in Grenada, joining Wyatt in an exclusive group of England players with multiple international centuries in the format.
He is also only the third player to score consecutive T20I centuries. France's Gustav Mckeon scored 109 and 101 against Switzerland and Norway, respectively, in July 2022 while three months later, South Africa's Rilee Rossouw scored 100 not out against India and 109 against Bangladesh.
Salt has now scored 601 runs in 20 T20Is, including 353 runs at 58.83 in seven matches against West Indies.
