Runs from Danni Wyatt and Laura Harris and a four-wicket haul from Jess Jonassen helped the Heat to a comfortable 44-run victory
Adelaide: Brisbane Heat 179-7, Hobart Hurricanes 135-9 – Brisbane Heat won by 44 runs
Brisbane Heat moved one step closer to the Women's Big Bash final after beating Hobart Hurricanes by 44 runs in the eliminator.
They will now face Adelaide Strikers at the Karen Rolton Oval on November 24, with the winner taking on Sydney Sixers in the trophy showdown.
England international Danni Wyatt steered Brisbane Heat through the first half of their innings, scoring 52 runs off 38 balls at the top of the order before bowled by Amy Smith (3 for 21) on the stroke of drinks.

Her departure triggered a mini-collapse, with Grace Harris and Amelia Kerr dismissed in quick succession as Brisbane Heat slumped to 81 for 4, before Laura Harris came out swinging to restore the batting side's advantage.
Harris blasted 44 runs off just 14 deliveries, including six fours and three sixes, as part of a 54-run fifth-wicket stand with Georgia Voll before being bowled by Nicola Carey (1 for 21) in the 15th over.
An unbeaten 37-run eighth-wicket stand between Nicola Hancock (15 off nine) and Charli Knott (23 off 16) helped the Heat close on 179 for 7.
In reply, Lizelle Lee (47 off 42) and Elyse Villani (25 off 17) made a strong start for their side, putting on 61 runs for the first wicket, but following the latter's dismissal in the eighth over, wickets fell at regular intervals for the Hurricanes and Heather Graham (21 off 17) was the only other player to make a meaningful contribution with the bat.
Knott (1 for 18), Amelia Kerr (1 for 22) and Courtney Grace Sippel (1 for 11) all produced handy performances with the ball while captain Jess Jonassen collected 4 for 23 from her four overs, with three wickets falling in the space of six balls at the death.
