De Kock traded to Mumbai Indians from Royal Challengers Bangalore

The 25-year-old's move was confirmed by Mumbai via a statement on the franchise's website on Saturday

Mumbai Indians have signed Quinton de Kock for the 2019 Indian Premier League campaign.

The South Africa wicketkeeper arrives at the franchise after being traded by Royal Challengers Bangalore, for whom he played this year.

The 25-year-old's move was confirmed by Mumbai via a statement on the franchise's website on Saturday.

De Kock has accumulated 921 runs in the IPL, including a stint with Delhi Daredevils in addition to his time in Bangalore.

He is the first trade of the 2019 campaign's pre-season. IPL sides are allowed to trade until seven days before the competition's player auction.
