Gloucestershire have tied wicketkeeper-batsman James Bracey to a contract extension.

Bracey will now remain with the county until at least the end of the 2021 English summer. His previous deal had been due to expire at the end of the 2019 campaign.

The Bristol-born 21-year-old has featured in 23 first-class matches for Gloucestershire since making his debut against Sussex in 2016.

He averages 35.61 with the bat across 40 innings, with five half-centuries, three tons and a personal best of 156.

"I’m delighted to be extending my contract with Gloucestershire, after a thoroughly enjoyable year I’m excited to see what we can achieve as a squad moving forward," Bracey said.
