Wicketkeeper-batter Ella Claridge currently represents Lightning at regional level and Buckinghamshire at county level, finishing as the latter side’s top-scorer in T20 cricket in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.  

This season, she scored 199 runs in eight innings, including a top-score of 96 (61 balls) against Huntingdonshire while batting at the top of the order.  

She made her Lightning debut in 2021, scoring 46 runs – including a high score of 39 not out against Western Storm – in three Racheal Heyhoe Flint Trophy appearances and a further 21 runs in two Charlotte Edwards Cup outings.  

Claridge is half American.
