The PCB acted after Pakistan batsman pleaded guilty to two unrelated charges of failing to report corrupt approaches
Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal will have his appeal against a three-year ban for two anti-corruption code breaches heard on July 13.
The 30-year-old was punished in April after pleading guilty to charges of failing to report two separate approaches ahead of the Pakistan Super League.
Akmal was due to have his case heard on June 11 but the coronavirus pandemic forced his plea to be delayed. It will be adjudicated by Supreme Court judge Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar.
During an 11-year international career, Akmal has played 16 Tests, 121 one-day internationals and 84 T20Is
He has not played any senior cricket since representing Central Punjab in the Quai-e-Azam Trophy final in Karachi in December 2019, having been forced to miss the PSL.
A controversial figure on and off-the-field, earlier this year he was reprimanded for allegedly exposing himself during a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy.
