SOUTH DIVISION

Middlesex v Hampshire

Where: Lord's

When: Thursday, August 22. Play begins at 6:15pm.

Lowdown: Stuart Law's side are limping their way to the quarter-finals having only won one of their last four in the competition. They host a Hants side who are running out of time to make a run for the top four in the south section and likely need to win all their remaining games to stand a realistic chance.

One to watch: No bowler has taken more than the 17 wickets collected by Steven Finn in the competition, with the former England paceman showing plenty of pace and carry on his way to becoming the joint-most potent seamer in the 20-over format.

Weather: The return of the English summer should lead to a sun-drenched game at the home of cricket.

Tickets: Adults £25, Under 16 £10 - click here for further details

Prediction: Middlesex

Sussex v Essex

Where: Hove

When: Thursday, August 22. Play begins at 7pm.

Lowdown: Victory will all-but guarantee the Sharks, last year's runners-up, a place in the knock-out phase. After collecting just two wins from their 10 games, Essex remain in contention to progress but must take their Championship form into the white-ball arena pronto.

One to watch: Jason Behrendorff has been signed up for Sussex's final four group matches and the quarter-finals - should they make it - having impressed with Australia during the World Cup. He replaces the injured Tymal Mills.

Weather: Bright sunshine and warm conditions are expected for much of the day and evening on the south coast, which should lead to an uninterupted game.

Tickets: Sold out

Prediction: Sussex
