Nottinghamshire have announced that their Royal London One-Day Cup fixture against Durham on Friday, May 3 will be hosted at Grantham Cricket Club.
This will be first time that Notts have played first-team cricket at Gorse Lane, with the Second XI playing a number of matches at the ground over the past two seasons.
Director of Cricket Mick Newell said: “We knew the World Cup was coming this year and that scheduling would require us to find an alternative venue for a 50-over game.
“We’ve played second-team cricket at Grantham, during which we’ve been looking at the facilities and thinking about how it might work for a full fixture.

“We put a side out in 2017 that was pretty much a first team in preparation for the Blast. They all tried out the facilities and liked what they saw.
“We’re confident that everything is in place and we are looking forward to putting a show on there, both for locals and for our members and travelling supporters.”
There is a regular train service between Nottingham and Grantham on weekdays, and the club have confirmed they will be laying on transport from Trent Bridge, the details of which will be finalised at a later date.
