Middlesex have announced that three more players have signed long-term contract extensions with the club.

Ethan Bamber, Nathan Sowter and Robbie White have all put pen to paper on extensions of their current deals.

Bamber, in particular, enjoyed a breakthrough County Championship season in 2018, taking 28 wickets at an average of 20.25.

The 20-year-old said: "I'm over the moon to be able to stay at this brilliant club and can’t wait to see what the future holds."

White made his debut for Middlesex in 2015 and featured behind the stumps for the side in both the County Championship and the Vitality Blast during the 2018 season.

He remarked: "I'm delighted to extend my stay at Middlesex – a club I've been at since I was just nine years old. I’m really looking forward to continuing my development here and to helping contribute towards success in the coming years."

Angus Fraser, Middlesex's managing director of cricket added: "The high-profile signings and extensions will inevitably grab the greater headlines, but it is equally as important as a club that we are developing young talented cricketers.

"In Ethan, Nathan and Robbie we have three with extremely bright futures who will play a big part in helping us to achieve our ambitions in years to come."
