England batsman Lauren Winfield-Hill is to leave England’s squad following the third WT20I against West Indies to join up with the Northern Diamonds ahead of Sunday’s Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy final.
The 30-year-old made 72 in the first game of the competition against Central Sparks but has not featured in the international series.

Director of England Women’s Cricket Jonathan Finch said: “We want to ensure players get the opportunity to play as many games as possible and we couldn’t turn down the chance for Lauren to play in a domestic final.
“We want to do right by the player and going forward we’ll be keen to offer domestic playing opportunities to England players where possible.”
