Slow left-arm spinner Kirstie Gordon has been ruled out injured about scans showed that he has suffered a stress fracture in her lower back.

The 21-year-old was a regular for England during the ICC Women's World T20 as they finished runners-up, and was their leading wicket-taker.

She was also the leading wicket-taker in both the Royal London Women's County Championship and the Kia Super League.

She sits at 116 in the Women's T20 Player Index having taken 25 wickets over the past three years, with a very impressive economy rate of 44.74 per cent, which has contributed to her having a win percentage of 62.5.

England Women's head coach said: "Kirstie has had a great start to her international career so this is obviously a set-back for her but hopefully the time out will allow her to come back fitter and stronger."
