Olly Stone has been forced to fly home from England's tour of the Caribbean because of injury.

The seamer has suffered a bone stress injury to his lower back, ruling him out of the entirety of the trip, with the issue formally diagnosed by a scan in Barbados on Wednesday.

England are yet to name a replacement for Stone, who faces a period of rehabilitation with his club Warwickshire.

"Stone will return home from the Caribbean later this week and will undergo further examination with Warwickshire's medical team," a statement from the county read.

"Further details on his expected return to training will be announced following this."
