Katherine Brunt and Danni Wyatt starred as England secured T20I series victory against India in Guwahati.

Brunt claimed impressive match figures of 3-17 from her four overs to help restrict India to just 111 for eight, before Wyatt smacked a brisk half-century in the chase as the tourists won with five balls to spare.

The success gives England a 2-0 lead in the series with one game remaining.

Having won the toss, the visitors kept a stranglehold on the Indian batting lineup, with Brunt at the heart of their effort.

At 33, she became the oldest England bowler to take three or more wickets in a T20I, removing Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Bharati Fulmali, to keep the home side to a modest total.

In reply, England lost four wickets for 28 runs to slip from 28 without loss to 56 for 4 but Wyatt and Lauren Winfield put on 47 to steady the ship.

Wyatt finished unbeaten on 64 from 55 balls to guide her side to victory and their seventh successive bilateral T20I series win. India, meanwhile, have lost six T20 matches in a row.
