The 70-year-old, who was elected to the ICC board last year, has less than two years of his tenure as ECB chairman to run
ECB chairman Colin Graves has been appointed to one of the most senior administrative positions within the International Cricket Council.
Graves was on Monday named as the chairman of the global governing body's finance and commercial affairs committee, which counts among its responsibilities the control and monitoring of rights deals and allocation of profits from major events.
The 70-year-old, who was elected to the ICC board last year, has less than two years of his tenure as ECB chairman to run.
It remains to be seen whether Graves will seek re-election to the England and Wales administrative body's top job.
He has received tremendous criticism from both county officials and the wider cricketing public over plans for The Hundred, and could step aside in 2020 when the ICC chairmanship will be up for grabs.
