Han Lili top-scored with four as the Chinese failed to score a single boundary on their way to a lowly 14 off 10 overs as they chased 203, beating the previous record of 18 held by the Mexico women's team
It would seem the growth of cricket has some way to go in China after their women’s team were dismissed by the UAE for just 14 in Bangkok on Sunday.
The total represents the lowest ever score in a T20I match for either men or women, as the UAE won by 189 runs.
The previous lowest score was posted by the Mexico women’s team as they were bowled out by the Brazil women’s team for just 18 back in 2018.

The UAE had scored an impressive 203 for 3 off their 20 overs, with wicketkeeper Esha Rohit scoring her maiden T20 half-century.
The Chinese were then skittled out for just 14 off their 10 overs, failing to score a single boundary and with Han Lili top-scoring with four.
This is not the first time that a UAE team have given China something of a beating.
The China men’s team were bowled out for just 27 by the UAE men’s team while chasing 236 back in 2009.
