With their recent retro kit going down so well amongst their supporters, CA have decided to continue the theme and are allowing fans to pick which retro uniform will be used as the basis for what will be worn in 2019/20 home season...
Cricket Australia have announced they will be allowing fans to vote for the kit their men’s team will wear in an ODI series against New Zealand next summer.
Australia wore a retro kit against India in their recent ODI series, which was inspired by the uniform worn by Allan Border’s team during a corresponding series in 1986.
With that kit going down so well amongst their supporters, CA have decided to continue the theme and are allowing fans to pick which retro uniform will be used as the basis for what will be worn by the ODI squad in 2019/20.
Voting opens on Wednesday, February 20 and will be run in a head-to-head format with eight potential kits from between 1981 and 1999 shortlisted.
