Nottinghamshire and England seamer Stuart Broad
Stuart Broad is targeting a return to action at the end of the month after receiving injections to treat an ankle ligament problem.
Broad was troubled by the issue during Nottinghamshire's County Championship game against Worcestershire at Trent Bridge last week and has since undergone scans.
Having now been treated, however, the England bowler intends to be part of the Notts side which faces Surrey from July 22, with the ultimate goal of being available for selection for his country when the five-Test series against India begins next month.
"I've had some injections in my left ankle for an ongoing ligament problem after seeing brilliant specialists and having different scans," he wrote on Instagram.

Broad's strike partner Jimmy Anderson has also been suffering with injury - a shoulder problem which has kept him out of action since the second Test against Pakistan at Headingley at the end of June.
He will turn out for Lancashire's second XI this weekend in an effort to ramp up his recovery.
