Munro was joined in a third-wicket partnership worth 67 with compatriot Tim Seifert (28), while Akeal Hosein (14*) and Andre Russell (18*) saw the chase home.

Earlier, Ravi Rampaul was the star of the bowling show for Trinbago. The veteran seamer claimed superb figures of 4 for 19, including the crucial wickets of Brandon King and Rovman Powell, as Jamaica struggled to find their rhythm.

Only Fabian Allen, with a 35-ball 50 from No.7, caused the Knight Riders attack any issues, as the Tallawahs failed to go at a run a ball across their 20 overs.
