Result - Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

Sialkot have won this dead rubber by six wickets with five balls to spare. Haris Sohail top-scored with 63 as Hampshire crash out with two defeats from two. They fly home tomorrow. Sialkot are also out. Full match blog available in County section
  • 19:15
    Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

Sialkot have their noses in front. 36 off 26 should be gotten with seven wickets in hand.
  • 18:55
    Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

Set up for a cracking finish here. Stallions 62-3 after 10. 82 needed. Haris Sohail on 30 and Shoaib on six. Tidy from Hampshire so far. Afridi has three left.
  • 18:31
    Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

David Griffiths has just bowled Shakeel Ansar to leave the Stallions at 26-2 after five. Liam Dawson also struck in his first over.
  • 18:00
Interval - Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

Hampshire post 143-8 from their 20 overs. Maxwell top-scored with 42, the only man to pass 20. Umaid Asif took two wickets. The loss of Maxwell and Afridi in a short space of time as the innings was reaching a climax hamstrung Hampshire.
  • 17:37
    Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

Glenn Maxwell, in particular, and Shahid Afridi have got Hampshire into an excellent position. Maxwell has hit a couple of huge sixes to take his score to 38 and his side's to 112-4 after 15. Sialkot haven't helped themselves in the field.
  • 17:13
    Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

With Sean Ervine run out to follow Vince, Hampshire's innings is creeping along. Mind you, conditions are in favour of the bowlers. 135 could be defendable. 59-3 after 10.
  • 16:52
    Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

I was just about to type something along lines of 'decent start for Hampshire', but they have lost Michael Carberry caught at backward square-leg off Shoaib. That followed James Vince running himself out. 38-2 after five.

Team News - Hampshire v Sialkot Stallions

Result - Hampshire v Auckland Aces

Auckland win by eight wickets with 33 balls to spare. Azhar scoops the man-of-the-match award with 5-24 and 55 not out off 31 balls with 5x4s and 4x6s. Ouch! Hampshire's match against Sialkot from Pakistan tomorrow is now a dead rubber as Auckland have won both of their matches to qualify for the main event. • 14:57
    Hampshire v Auckland Aces

Crikey, Azhar Mahmood's having a good day. He's onto 30 in double quick time. Afridi just got rid of Guptill for 38, but the game's surely gone. Auckland are 91-2 in the 12th with only 31 needed.
  • 14:31
    Hampshire v Auckland Aces

I think Hampshire are on a flight home this weekend unfortunately. After five overs, Auckland are 43-0 with Lou Vincent and Martin Guptill going great guns on 19 and 22 respectively. 79 off 15 overs needed.
  • 13:56
Interval - Hampshire v Auckland Aces

Hampshire have crept up to 121-8, and it needed 12 off the last over to do it. Carberry top-scored with 65 off 65 balls, but Azhar finished with exceptional figures of 5-24 from four. It's an uphill task from here.
  • 13:34
    Hampshire v Auckland Aces

It would seem that Carberry is Hampshire's only hope of posting 130 here, which would give them a shout. Both Ervine and Glenn Maxwell were caught at long-on off Ronnie Hira in the last few overs. Carberry is 39 not out. 84-5 in the 16th.
  • 13:17
    Hampshire v Auckland Aces

The rebuilding is underway, but there's a heck of a long way to go. Hampshire are 51-3 after 11 overs with Carberry 28 not out and Sean Ervine unbeaten on nine. Seems to be a bit in the track.
  • 13:00
    Hampshire v Auckland Aces

Hampshire haven't made the best of starts, and they have been undone by Azhar Mahmood. The former Kent all-rounder has taken three wickets in 10 balls, including Shahid Afridi, and the Royals are 29-3 after six. Michael Carberry is 16 not out.
  • 12:18
Team News - Hampshire v Auckland Aces

HANTS: Vince, Carberry, Adams, Afridi, Ervine, Maxwell, Dawson, Mascarenhas, Wood, Kabir, Bates. AUCKLAND: Guptill, Vincent, Azhar, Kitchen, Hopkins (c/w), Munro, de Grandhomme, Hira, Mills, Adams, Bates. Two Michael Bates on show today, both with initials MD - one's a keeper, the other a fast bowler. "Two Michael Bates, there's only two Michael Bates" I hear you cry!

    Hampshire v UVA Next

Yorkshire beware. UVA are coasting to victory, and McDonald has had a big hand. He cracked a blistering 70. The Sri Lankans are now 120-3 after 11 overs. With players such as Umar Gul and Shivnarine Chanderpaul to come back before their opening qualifier against Yorkshire on Tuesday, they will fancy their chances of qualifying. And I fancy their chances too.
  • 14:15
    Hampshire v UVA Next

The Royals are 91-4 after 13 overs with Ervine on 26 and Liam Dawson on nine. Maxwell is the clubhouse leader in terms of top-scorers with 32. Hampshire seem to have struggled with a bit of extra pace and bounce on offer. Oram, for example, was hitting the keeper's gloves very hard above his head stood close to the edge of 30-yard circle.
  • 13:45
    Hampshire v UVA Next

Not sure who won the toss, but Hampshire are batting - and not very well at the moment. They are 30-3 after five overs. Jacob Oram has two of them, including Michael Carberry and James Vince. Glenn Maxwell and Sean Ervine are at the crease.

Hampshire beat Warwickshire on losing fewer wickets. Scores level, Warwicks 244-7. Blackwell bowled by the third ball of the over. Neil Carter, 37, in his last game for Warwicks, extra cover drove his second ball for four but failed to make contact with the final ball
  • 17:22
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

The last two balls of Chris Wood's final over, the 39th, are hit for four by Woakes - to fine leg and square third man - and Warwicks are 238-6, needing seven from the final over. Kabir Ali to bowl it
  • 17:11
    WICKET - Hampshire v Warwickshire

Ian Bell goes, for an 81-ball 81, well held by a running Michael Carberry at deep square leg off the final ball of the 37th over off David Griffiths. Warwicks now 218-6, needing 27 off three overs. Ian Blackwell joins Woakes
  • 17:06
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Four overs left, and Warwicks need 39 at 206-5. Clarke was bowled by Wood for 24, the left-arm seamer's third wicket in an impressive performance, but Bell then hit two fours off Kabir and Chris Woakes added a third boundary from the final ball of the 36th
  • 16:55
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Warwicks scored only 24 in their 4-over batting powerplay, compared to Hants' 41, but Bell and Clarke are still there on 61 and 22 respectively as the Bears reach 191-4 after 34 overs
  • 16:37
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Warwicks 162-4 after 30 overs, with Bell 48 and Rikki Clarke 10. Hampshire bowling and fielding tenaciously, though, so a tough ask here for the Bears
  • 16:25
    WICKET - Hampshire v Warwickshire

Jim Troughton, on 5, is brilliantly caught by a diving Adams at short extra cover from a full-blooded drive at Ervine. Warwicks 144-4, midway through the 28th over
  • 16:19
    WICKET - Hampshire v Warwickshire

Ambrose gone, caught behind cutting at Chris Wood for 26 - a smart catch by Bates, standing up. That leaves Warwicks 137-3 but Bell, who swung Katich for six two overs earlier, is still there on 38
  • 16:09
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Good over by Liam Dawson, conceding only a single, to complete his eight-over stint of 1-39, but Warwicks still on course at 124-2 after 24 overs, with Bell 29 and Ambrose 22
  • 15:57
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

It's the half-way stage of Warwickshire's reply and they are 101-2 after 20 overs, ten fewer than hampshire were at the same point

Steady start by Warwickshire. 26-0 after five overs, exactly the same as Hampshire were
  • 14:35
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Warwickshire have just started their chase and Darren Maddy is opening with Varun Chopra. Hampshire have opened the bowling with slow left-armer Liam Dawson
  • 14:16
    Interval - Hampshire v Warwickshire

Ervine was well caught at the wicket off Darren Maddy in the 39th over, having scored 57 off 55 balls (1x6, 6x4), but Katich finished 35 not out as Hampshire totalled 244-5 from their 40 overs. Pretty even, but Warwicks coped quite well with Wright's absence
  • 14:06
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Wright's injury has left Warwicks short of the services of their main death bowler and Woakes, Carter and now Maddy are struggling to contain Ervine and Katich. In the 39th over, Hants are 238-4
  • 13:50
    Hampshire v Warwickshire

Hants 200 up with exactly five overs of the innings left. Ervine has bludgeoned his way to 42 and Simon Katich, who replaced Adams at the crease, is on 12. Chris Wright has a side strain and has only bowled three overs. Hants 200-4
  • 13:36

  • 13:10
    Landmark - Hampshire v Warwickshire
