Hampshire are crediting their limited-overs cup double for a 20% increase in membership sales, with 3,000 sold so far - 500 more than this time last year.

David Griffiths has just bowled Shakeel Ansar to leave the Stallions at 26-2 after five. Liam Dawson also struck in his first over.

Hampshire post 143-8 from their 20 overs. Maxwell top-scored with 42, the only man to pass 20. Umaid Asif took two wickets. The loss of Maxwell and Afridi in a short space of time as the innings was reaching a climax hamstrung Hampshire.

Glenn Maxwell, in particular, and Shahid Afridi have got Hampshire into an excellent position. Maxwell has hit a couple of huge sixes to take his score to 38 and his side's to 112-4 after 15. Sialkot haven't helped themselves in the field.

With Sean Ervine run out to follow Vince, Hampshire's innings is creeping along. Mind you, conditions are in favour of the bowlers. 135 could be defendable. 59-3 after 10.

I was just about to type something along lines of 'decent start for Hampshire', but they have lost Michael Carberry caught at backward square-leg off Shoaib. That followed James Vince running himself out. 38-2 after five.

Auckland win by eight wickets with 33 balls to spare. Azhar scoops the man-of-the-match award with 5-24 and 55 not out off 31 balls with 5x4s and 4x6s. Ouch! Hampshire's match against Sialkot from Pakistan tomorrow is now a dead rubber as Auckland have won both of their matches to qualify for the main event. Crikey, Azhar Mahmood's having a good day. He's onto 30 in double quick time. Afridi just got rid of Guptill for 38, but the game's surely gone. Auckland are 91-2 in the 12th with only 31 needed.

I think Hampshire are on a flight home this weekend unfortunately. After five overs, Auckland are 43-0 with Lou Vincent and Martin Guptill going great guns on 19 and 22 respectively. 79 off 15 overs needed.

Hampshire have crept up to 121-8, and it needed 12 off the last over to do it. Carberry top-scored with 65 off 65 balls, but Azhar finished with exceptional figures of 5-24 from four. It's an uphill task from here.

It would seem that Carberry is Hampshire's only hope of posting 130 here, which would give them a shout. Both Ervine and Glenn Maxwell were caught at long-on off Ronnie Hira in the last few overs. Carberry is 39 not out. 84-5 in the 16th.

The rebuilding is underway, but there's a heck of a long way to go. Hampshire are 51-3 after 11 overs with Carberry 28 not out and Sean Ervine unbeaten on nine. Seems to be a bit in the track.

Hampshire haven't made the best of starts, and they have been undone by Azhar Mahmood. The former Kent all-rounder has taken three wickets in 10 balls, including Shahid Afridi, and the Royals are 29-3 after six. Michael Carberry is 16 not out.

Yorkshire beware. UVA are coasting to victory, and McDonald has had a big hand. He cracked a blistering 70. The Sri Lankans are now 120-3 after 11 overs. With players such as Umar Gul and Shivnarine Chanderpaul to come back before their opening qualifier against Yorkshire on Tuesday, they will fancy their chances of qualifying. And I fancy their chances too.

The Royals are 91-4 after 13 overs with Ervine on 26 and Liam Dawson on nine. Maxwell is the clubhouse leader in terms of top-scorers with 32. Hampshire seem to have struggled with a bit of extra pace and bounce on offer. Oram, for example, was hitting the keeper's gloves very hard above his head stood close to the edge of 30-yard circle.
