Glamorgan win by seven wickets.

After two delays for bad light play has resumed. Glamoran 41-3 with 20 needed for victory.

Glamorgan have lost a third wicket. Will Bragg caught at backward point off Charlie Shreck. Glamorgan 36-3, needing 25 to win. With 12 overs left the umpires have taen the players offor bad light. Ridiculously, this game could now go into a fourth day.   

Glamorgan now 28-2. Steart Walters caught behind off Matt Coles. Still 33 to win.

Nick James caught behind off Matt Coles. Glamorgan 26-1 needing 35 moe to win.

Robert Croft takes the final wicket with his last ball in first-class cricket. Charlie Shreck holed out to long-off. Croft was given a guard of honour by his team-mates as he walked from the field and a standing ovation from the crowd. Glamorgan need 61 to win.  

Geraint Jones out for 81. He was caught off a top-edged hook to give Jim Allenby his third wicket. Kent are now 259-9, a lead of 39.

Jim Allenby stuck again two balls later to have Matt Coles leg before in similar fashion to Tredwell. Kent now 244-8, a lead of 24.

Early tea because a sprinkler on the edge of the square has sprung a leak. Kent 226-6.

Glamorgan will have to bat again after Kent reached 220-6.

Geraint Jones 50 from 97 balls with six fours and one six. He also brought up the Kent 200.

Robert Croft has got the crucial breakthrough, having Michael Powell caught at slip. Kent are 192-6, needing 28 to make Glamorgan bat again.

Kent 127-5 - still needing 91 to avoid an innings defeat.

John Glover has taken two wickets in as many balls. Brendan Nash gloved a ball behind and Darren Stevens went first ball leg before. Kent are now 96-5.

Bright sunshine at Cardiff where Kent started the third day needing 187 to avoid an innings defeat. Following-on they began the morning on 33-2. After the first over they had moved on to 39-2.

Kent 170 all out with Robert Croft ending with figures of five for 31. Kent have been made to follow-on 220 behind.

Kent are in disarray. They have now lost six wickets for 13 runs - three for no runs. Mike Reed claimed the wickets of Darren Stevens and Matt Coles with consecutive balls. Kent are 151-8 - 90 needed to avoid the follow-on.  

Robert Croft has poured more misery on Kent, who are now 150-6 after Geraint Jones gave the off spinner  comfortable return catch. Croft now has figures of three for 14 from 19 overs.

Kent's promotion hopes have suddenly gone really awry. With no addition to the score after Powell's demise Brendan Nash ha bee caught at slip off Robert Croft. Kent now 140-5.

Kent have been reduced to 140-4 with Michael Powell caught at second slip by Stewart Walters after third slip, Will Bragg, failed to cling on. It as a deserved wicket for Mike Reed.

Robert Croft ensured he will not end his final match wicketless when he broke through in the final over before tea to trap Sam Northeast for 62. It left Kent 137-3 - 253 behind Glamorgan.

Sam Northeast has reached his 50 from 81 balls with seven fours. Kent are 110-2

Kent are 96-2 having lost Daniel Bell-Drummond for 33 lbw to Jim Allenby.

A further shower has put back the scheduled 2pm resumption to 2.15. It means nine overs have been lost with 57 remaining today.

Rain at Cardiff during the lunch interval means there will not be a resumption until 2pm with five overs of the match lost.

Kent 55-1 (Northeast 23, Bell-Drummond 14)

Kent have suffered a major blow with Rob Key having been trapped by John Glover leg before. Key went for 14 with Kent 26-1

Glamorgan 390 all out. Mike Reed was trapped in front by Matt Coles leaving Jim Allenby 125 not out from 163 balls with 16 fours and a six.

Kent have grabbed a third bowling point with eight balls to spare. John Glover was caught at second slip by James Tredwell at second slip off Matt Coles. It ended  ninth wicket partnership of 128 with Jim Allenby worth 128 in 36 overs. Glamorgan are 383-9.

Jim Allenby and John Glover have broken the record for the Glamorgan ninth wicket against Kent. They have put on 104 beating the 103 by Mark Wallace and Dean Cosker, which was only established at Canterbury less than two months ago. Glamorgan now 362-8.

Glamorgan 334-8 - Jim Allenby 100 not out having shared in an unbeaten 82-run partnership for the ninth wicket with John Glover.

Glamorgan 300-8 (Allenby 75). The Welsh county have a third batting point. Kent are being made to wait for their third bowling point.

Robert Croft's penultimate innings in first-class cricket lasted only six balls. He went for one before he was caught behind fending one off Matt Coles. Glamorgan have been reduced to 252-8.

If it was Glamorgan's morning, it has definitely been Kent's afternoon. Glamorgan are 243-6.

Captain Mark Wallace has been bowled attempting to put James Tredwell over long on to leave Glamorgan 233-6. He went just eight minutes before tea.

Glamorgan have been reduced to 188-5 after Ben Wright fell to a dreadful shot, caught behind to an inside edge off Charlie Shreck. The home side have now lost three wickets in the space of 22 balls for the addition of 13 runs.

Glamorgan are 182-4 after losing two wickets for three runs. Stewart Walters was caught by former home batsman Mike Powell attempting to hook Charlie Shreck, and David Lloyd, who made a pair on debut at Headingley, has gone for a third duck, edging James Tredwell to slip.

Stewart Walters, Glamorgan's leading run-maker, has reached 50 from 102 balls with six fours.

Kent have a second wicket eight minutes before lunch after James Tredwell trapped Will Bragg lbw attempting to sweep. Glamorgan are 127-2. Bragg went for 59 fro 72 balls with 10 fours.

Glamorgan have scored 100 in 100 minutes and Will Bragg has gone to his 50 with his ninth four from 62 balls.

Kent have struck. After Glamorgan's positive start Darren Stevens, who has been so successful with the ball in recent games, broke through with his third ball to have Nick James caught behind. Glamorgan have reached 55-1 in the 11th.

Glamorgan 50 came up in only eight overs. Not what Kent, who need to win to have any realistic chance of promotion, had planned having put the home side in on a green top. But the extra carry and attacking fields have suited the Glamorgan openers - Will Bragg and Nick James.

Glamorgan bowled out for 182, Patterson 4-47 and Yorkshire are strolling home here. They are 45 for no wicket and Adam Lyth is 35 not out and batting as if it was the simplest thing in the world. Yorkshire now need Kent and Hants not to win.   

Wallace lbw Sidebottom for 17 and Yorkshire's victory edges closer. Glamorgan are 149 for 8, a lead of only 77, and nothing like the 200 or so they need to cause Yorkshire problems. Cosker's gone too, now - that's 149-9.     

Glamorgan have lost their seventh wicket and it's the key one of Jim Allenby, bowled by Moin Ashraf for 48. The lead is now only 53 and Glamorgan are 125 for seven.  All this is very satisfactory for the home spectators of course.     

Just when Glamorgan were recovering - Allenby and Wright had put on 55 - Wright was lbw to McGrath, half forward and quickly dispatched by Neil Bainton. Glamorgan are 102 for 6 and the lead is now only 30.  

Morning from Headingley where Glamorgan are now 33 for two, 39 runs behind. It's a key day for Yorkshire and Sidebottom has just had a big lbw shout turned down. A win today would do Yorkshire's promotion hopes a power of good.  

Two wickets have been taken by John Glover, those of Rafiq and Gale in the post-tea session and Yorkshire are now 313 for eight, a lead of 41. Sidebottom is 18 not out and Patterson has 10.

Just when Ballance and McGrath were rebuilding the innings, Ballance has been bowled by a full-length ball from Allenby for 26 and the home side are 266 for five. Hodd has now joined McGrath, who, like a few of his colleagues, has played well. 

And now Gale's gone too, bowled by a subterranean delivery from Graham Wagg for a well-made 55. Yorkshire are 206 for four and the game is back in the balance - or Ballance, I suppose, for Gary is batting with McGrath. Wagg bowling well for Glam.  

Just when a hundred was there for the taking, Adam Lyth lbw to a full length ball from John Glover for 95. It's hardly changed the game but it's a disappointment for Lyth who made 93 against Derbyshire in Yorkshire's last home match.

100 partnership between Lyth and Gale. Yorkshire are 174 for two and the deficit is only 98.

Yorkshire 163 for two and it's looking like there's a hard afternoon in prospect for a Glamorgan attack lacking Huw Waters, who is still off the field. Lyth is 76 not out and Gale is 45 not out. 

Yorkshire 133 for two, Lyth 67, Gale 26. Lyth very impressive this morning. Yorkshire are now 139 in arrears.
