Kent v Essex

A 50 stand between James Foster and Adam Wheater has moved Essex even closer to first innings parity with Kent. Foster has batted 150 minutes for 28, while Wheater has struck five fours in his eye-catching 39. After 57 overs Essex have reached 129 for five and trail the hosts by 97.
