Kent v Essex

The heat haze has yet to burn off, but we look set fair for a good day at St Lawrence for the second day of the 161st Canterbury Week. Thursday is, of course, Ladies Day, when the men wear carnations in their buttonholes and the Ladies turn out in their finest frocks and hats for the Fashion on the Outfield competition.
Play looks set to start on time at 11am.
