WICKET - Somerset v Essex

Graham Napier briefly lifted Essex spirits with successive fours but then skied Lewis Gregory to mid-wicket and into the waiting hands of Marcus Trescothick. Napier  trudged back to the dug out to leave Essex 93-7  in the 14th over.
