INSPECTION: Kent v South Africans

Umpires Jeff Evans and Trevor Jesty are inspecting at 11am at Canterbury where heavy overnight rain has again left conditions underfoot decidedly soggy. With further showers forecast, the prospects for a prompt resumption appear a little bleak. The tourists are on 31 for one overnight, having dismissed Kent for 210 on the opening day.
