Kent v South Africans

Kent, having looked in fine fettle at 91-1, have done well to get to 200 as wickets have continued to tumble at St Lawrence. The experience of facing up to a Test attack with three premier fast bowlers and a top-class spinner, rather than a string of second division championship trundlers. Veteran Michael Powell is showing how things need to be done and has already batted almost 100 minutes for his 40 runs as Kent limp to 204 for eight.
