Surrey ..... won the toss - and will field first against Kent

A weakened Kent cannot afford defeat at The Oval if they are to qualify for the knock-out stages. The visitors are without Tredwell (England duty), Matt Coles (fatigue) and Brendan Nash (compassionate grounds), so draft in Adam Riley, Azhar Mahmood and Alex Blake. Surrey, captained by Batty in the absence of Hamilton-Brown, welcome back Kevin Pietersen.
