Uneven pattern to t20 weather

By Andrew Hignell

Being  - roughly - at the halfway point in the group stage of the Friends Life t20 competition, it is an appropriate time to see how the weather has been affecting the first part of the tournament.

As the figures below show, there is – at present - a very uneven pattern in the amount of overs lost. The Durham Dynamos and the Essex Eagles have not, so far, lost a single over to the weather whereas five other teams – the Gloucestershire Gladiators, Notts Outlaws, Sussex Sharks, Warwickshire Bears and the Welsh Dragons - have all lost the equivalent of more than two entire games.
