Cleckheaton v Yorkshire - T20 warm-up

Yorkshire won their FLt20 warm-up tie against the Bradford League outfit by 91 runs tonight. Andrew Gale, a former Cleck' player, scored a whopping 146 not out in 242-5, including 23 from overseas batsman David Miller, the South African who batted at three. Joe Root also hit an inventive late 40. Moin Ashraf then took three wickets, but the hosts acquitted themselves well by posting 151-8. Some middle order power from Richard Whitehurst (62) and James Lee (36) gave the Tykes something to think about ahead of Friday's clash with Durham. Whitehurst took a particular liking to Azeem Rafiq's off-spin.
