Leicestershire won the toss - Glamorgan v Leicestershire

Stand-in Leicstershire captain Ramnaresh Sarwan chose to bat on a straw coloured pitch in warm sunshine. The Glamorgan team were addressed on the field before play by former county captain Ossie Wheatley for 15 minutes. It seems the Welshmen will do anything to get that first win of the season.
