Essex v Kent

Ravi Bopara WILL bat. he has a slight tear in right quad but will bat with a runner. Not ruled himself out of selection for First Test  yet and Andy Flower fully aware of current situation. Alviro Petersen, ankle injury. will also bat with runner.
