Hampshire won the toss - Hampshire v Leicestershire

News from the Ageas Bowl is that Hampshire captain Jimmy Adams is not playing for 'personal reasons'. Simon Katich won the toss in Adams' absence and decided to bowl. Sean Terry, the son of former Hampshire manager'  makes his Hants debut.
