The Broad Appeal: two new fundraisers

Following the death of his wife Miche, from Motor Neurone Disease (MND), former England batsman Chris Broad and his two children, England fast bowler Stuart and England team analyst Gemma, are raising money and awareness for MND through the Broad Appeal.

Two new events have been arranged for 2012, a 6-a-side tournament and a dinner at Lord’s. The 6-a-side tournament will take place on Sunday 29 July at Wellesbourne Cricket Club, Warwickshire. The Broad family plus a large number of cricketing personalities will be in attendance throughout the day.

The Black Tie Dinner will be held in the Long Room at Lord’s on Wednesday 24 October. This special evening starts with a champagne reception, followed by a three course dinner, entertainment and a charity auction.
