Result - Hampshire v Essex

Hampshire have lost by 122 runs.  Last man David Griffiths played on for 21 after putting on 62 with Jimmy Adams, who carried his bat for 139. Two Yorkshire bonus points next week will confirm Hampshire's stay in division two for another season.
