Seamer has signed a new deal at Lord's

Middlesex seamer James Harris has signed a contract extension at Lord's.

Harris, who joined the county from Glamorgan in 2013, has claimed 148 wickets in 48 first-class appearances and a further 45 white ball outings.

The precise terms of his extension have not been disclosed by Middlesex.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have signed an extension to my contract," Harris said.

“I’m looking forward to playing a large part in that over the coming years for this great club.”

Angus Fraser, Middlesex Cricket’s managing director of cricket, said: “I am delighted that James has committed his immediate future to Middlesex. He is a huge asset to the club and has many good years ahead of him.”

Eoin Morgan, Toby Roland-Jones, Sam Robson, Nick Gubbins, Ollie Rayner and Stephen Eskinazi have all recently extended their stays at Lord's.
