One to watch: Only Dan Lawrence is averaging more for Essex than Tom Westley. The No.3 has scored 474 at 59.25 and was 108 not out in his last innings as Essex chased 252 to defeat Surrey by eight wickets. Lawrence and Jamie Porter have both been called up for England Lions to face South Africa A.
