Lizzy has been in and around cricket since the age of 8. Growing up in
Yorkshire, the lasses either made the teas or did the scoring and since
she was shite at making butties she opted for sticking the dots in a
book something she’s now been doing every summer Saturday for some 25
years – not missing a season.
She’s not a proper northerner though and was born in the county of Middlesex and has been supporting them ever since. Lizzy can mostly be seen on the top tier of the Lord’s Pavilion surrounded by a cloud of smoke and tutting at Middlesex’s never ending failures. When she’s not doing that she’s either scoring for Barnes CC or tweeting or blogging like a mentalist. Mostly though Lizzy is proud to be a County Cricket tragic.
