CSK win by four wickets with an over to spare. Badrinath's 47 was a key component of the chase, as was some poor fielding by Yorkshire. Twice they gifted four overthrows. Yorkshire head home after losing three of their four Group B matches, but class just reaching the group stages as success.

The game is slipping away from Yorkshire now. Badrinath is 46 and Dhoni 14, the pair having added 34 for the fourth wicket. Chennai are 108-3 after 15. 33 to win off 30 balls.

Yorkshire have made an encouraging start to their defence of 141 by picking up the wickets of Faf du Plessis and Murali Vijay. CSK are 29-2 after five.

Yorkshire end with 140-6. Ballance and Miller (28) shared 78 for the fourth wicket inside 10 overs, with the former hitting 58 off 38, including five sixes. Both fell in the latter stages to just halt the momentum. Shouldn't be enough.

That partnership I was talking about Miller and Ballance needing has come. They have added 52 to take the score to 95-3 after 15. MS Dhoni has just bowled the 15th over with his dibbly dobbly medium pacers.

Yorkshire have had a habit of losing wickets in clusters during this competition, and today has been no different. They are now 51-3 after 10 overs having been been 35-0 after five. Gale, Adam Lyth and Joe Root have all fallen. Morkel has two wickets. David Miller and Gary Ballance need a partnership.

Yorkshire have made a fine start thanks in the main to captain Andrew Gale, who has so far struggled in South Africa. He has hit Australian pace duo Doug Bollinger and Ben Hilfenhaus for sixes over mid-wicket and backward point. 35-0 after five. Hang on, make that 35-1 after 5.1 as Gale holes out to mid-off as Albie Morkel strikes. Gone for 23.

The Lions win by five wickets with five balls to spare. They qualify for semi-finals and knock Yorkshire out with one game left to play. A late 27 from Jean Symes proved key. Yorkshire battled extremely hard.

This is an interesting game now. Lions are 92-4 early in 16th. 40 off 29 balls needed.

Azeem Rafiq, having returned to field after a finger injury, has just trapped Nail McKenzie lbw to leave the Lions at 69-3 after 10. Still an uphill battle to defend 132, but the White Rose are battling.

Couple of wickets in first six overs, with Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Steve Patterson striking. But Lions are 44-2 and well on way. Yorkshire's injury woes show no signs of easing. Jason Gillespie was forced into brief sub-fielding stint recently. Rafiq off.

Yorkshire finish with a below par 131-7, and are up against it when you think there's no Sidebottom or Ashraf due to injury. Tanvir and Phangiso both took two wickets and Jaques top-scored with 31.

Yorkshire are within striking distance of 150 here. They are 97-3 after 15 with Adam Lyth and Gary Ballance together. Lyth just hit Dirk Nannes for consecutive boundaries. Ballance falls to Aaron Phangiso as I type. 100-4 in 16th.

The players are on their way back out after that brief rain delay. No overs lost. Yorkshire 61-2 after 10.

Rain at Newlands means Mumbai's innings has been brought to a close, according to our reliable source in the press box. They are 156-6 after 17.5 overs. Yorkshire's innings has to start by 8.40pm local to get five overs in.

Yorkshire battling hard and taking regular wickets. Only trouble is what's happening in between. Pollard looking dangerous on 22. 137-6 in 17th.

An eventful few overs has seen Yorkshire lose Moin Ashraf to a hamstring injury and Ryan Sidebottom to cramp, although the latter is back on. But Mumbai are 92-4. Rafiq has recently bowled Sharma and Adil Rashid had Dinesh Khartik caught at cover by Rafiq with his first ball. 93-4 in the 13th.

Prized wicket of Sachin has fallen, but run out. Yorkshire have come back pretty well from conceding 14 off first over. Dwayne Smith and Rohit Sharma in at the moment. 34-1 after five.

Well, that was a thumping win for the Sixers, who were brilliant. Difficult to say Yorkshire were particularly bad. They just got blown away by a far superior side. Former Tyke Lumb top-scored with 43 off 24 balls. Haddin finished 41 off 21.

Sydney have flown out of the blocks. They may have lost Shane Watson to Ryan Sidebottom with the seventh ball of the innings, but Brad Haddin and Michael Lumb have taken the score to 66-1 in the sixth over. Start the Braai.

I think there's more chance of my abseiling down Table Mountain than there is of Yorkshire winning this. They have posted just 96-9 from their 20 overs. Starc finished with 3-21 from four, Hazlewood 1-9 from four and Cummins 2-13 from four. Brilliant bowling from the Sixers.

Hazlewood finishes with 1-9 from four overs as Yorkshire reach 76-3 after 15 overs. The Sixers bowling has been superb, and I just can't see a way back for Yorkshire here. At least Gary Ballance is still at the crease.

As the Aussies like to say, Yorkshire are really under the pump. After takin 19 runs off the first two overs, only 24 came off the next eight as they reached 43-2 after 10. Gale and Jaques fell to Josh Hazlewood and Starc respectively, and it needs something special to get the White Rose up to even 130 from here, and that shouldn't be enough.

Solid start for Yorkshire, who are 29-0 after five overs. Phil Jaques has started superbly with 19, but Andrew Gale is struggling for rhythm. White Rose followers will be interested to note that Mitchell Starc's only over so far cost him 13.

Yorkshire have won and qualify for a place in Group B of the CLt20. Gary Ballance was the star with a brilliant 64. 103 stand with Rashid for fourth wicket. Hold onto your hats, this is gripping stuff. Yorkshire need 47 off 30 balls with Ballance and Rashid together. They have put on 51.

Yorkshire are up against it having lost Lyth and Joe Root since the last post. Adil Rashid, however, has started his innings nicely. They are 73-4 after 11 with Gary Ballance there too. 76 off 54 balls to win. T&T favourites.

Yorkshire have made a shaky start with the loss of openers Andrew Gale and Phil Jaques. They are 40-2 in the seventh over. Adam Lyth has just been dropped by Rayad Emrit.

T&T do very well to get to 148-9 after being 8-3, but Ryan Sidebottom was brilliant with 3-13 from four. Ramdin top-scored with 59 off 40 balls. Game on.

The Trinidadians are the ones with their tails up now. Bravo and Ramdin have played superbly to get their side to 100-3 after 15 overs.

T&T recovering here thanks to Darren Bravo and Denesh Ramdin, who have taken the score from 8-3 to 59-3 in the 11th.

Yorkshire's South African batsman David Miller has suffered a minor fracture to his nose after being hit by an Umar Gul bouncer earlier today in his county's CLt20 win over UVA Next at the Wanderers. Miller has had to postpone a flight out of Johannesburg to Durban tonight as a result, but has tweeted that "all's good". He retired hurt, but returned to the crease to help secure the 18 runs needed off the last 10 balls. He was always going to be unavailable for tomorrow's clash with Trinidad and Tobago at Centurion.

Key moment in this match as Miller has to retire hurt after top-edging a bouncer from Umar Gul into his face. 94-4 in the 14th. Onus rests with Rashid and debutant keeper Dan Hodgson.

Just when you think you've cracked this Twenty20 lark, it comes and bites you on the backside. Part-time spinner and opening batsman Dilshan Munaweera got rid of Phil Jaques and Gary Ballance with successive balls recently. Yorkshire now rebuilding at 85-4 in the 11th. Miller and Rashid are in.

Yorkshire have just lost Joe Root to a kamikaze shot. After hitting Chintaka Jayampathi for six, he fell to a skied catch trying to repeat the dose. Still a fine start from Yorkshire, who are 51-2 in the sixth.

UVA finish with 150-7 from their 20. Thilina Kandamby top-scores with 29. Two wickets each for Patterson and Ashraf. Dead even game for me.

A couple of wickets recently for the White Rose. Rafiq and Patterson got rid of McDonald and Chanderpaul. 107-4 after 15 overs.

UVA have moved on to 73-2 after 10 overs, the wickets coming from Moin Ashraf - fine diving catch from David Miller at cover - and Adil Rashid. Andrew McDonald and Shivnarine Chanderpaul are the not out batsmen. McDonald begins second 10 overs with a six over long-on off Azeem Rafiq.
