Sky subscribers in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch every ball of Ireland's historic Test match against Pakistan live.

Cricket Ireland has struck a deal with the broadcaster which will mean both the five-day clash in Malahide - the first Test involving a male Irish team - and two T20Is against India later in the summer being screened in their entireties.

RTE will also show one-hour highlights shows for every day of the Test match and the two T20s, while the overseas rights to the games have been sold in the USA, the Middle East and Australia, as well as several other regions.

“This broadcast package is set to break Irish sporting records, as we anticipate that the T20I series against India alone will be the biggest worldwide TV audience of any event – sporting or otherwise - ever staged in Ireland,” said Warren Deutrom, Cricket Ireland's chief executive.

“Since being confirmed as a Full Member of the International Cricket Council in June 2017, we have seen unprecedented interest in Irish cricket – most notably from a range of potential broadcast partners.”

“We are delighted to announce today the structure of the broadcasting schedule for the coming season, and we anticipate our fans worldwide will be pleased with the comprehensive nature of the package.”

The Test match against Pakistan is due to run from May 11 until May 15, with the two T20s against India scheduled for June 27 and June 29.
