Jonny Bairstow’s second century of the series - and fourth ODI hundred overall - including nine fours and six sixes, came in as England’s third-fastest one-day ton.

CAPTAIN MORGAN HITS 200

Eoin Morgan marked a milestone at the Hagley Oval, playing his 200th ODI, 177 of those coming for England, 23 with Ireland.

The skipper has scored 6,031 runs at 37.22, hitting 11 centuries and 35 fifties in 187 innings.

ENGLAND BREAK NEW ZEALAND’S HAGLEY HOLD

The Blackcaps were unbeaten in eight matches at the Christchurch venue before England rolled into town and ended that run in devastating fashion.

SUPER SIX

England arrived in New Zealand having won their last five ODI series, beating West Indies, Ireland, South Africa, West Indies again and most recently Australia. Now they’ve extended that run to six.

SUPER SANTNER

Before the series Mitchell Santner had not scored an ODI fifty in 48 matches. Now he has two to his name.

Santner scored 216 runs at an average of 108 and a strike rate of 105.88. Only Joe Root (225), Bairstow (302) and Ross Taylor (304) scored more runs in the series.

WOAKES’ MAGIC SPELLS

Chris Woakes was named England’s man of the series. His recognition largely down to the fantastic starts he has given his side with the ball.

SORRY SODHI 

After taking his best bowling innings figures of four for 58 at Dunedin, Ish Sodhi folllowed up with his most uneconomical spell in his 22-match career. The spinner was taken to the cleaners by Bairstow and finished with figures of one for 78 from 7.4 overs.
